Update (28-08-20): My cousin has delivered the money to the family, jazakAllah khair for your contributions.

Update (26-08-20): Alhumdulillah, the required Rs 45,000 have been collected and a donor sent an additional Rs 42,000 for this family thus a total of Rs 87,000 has been transferred to my cousin’s account. JazakAllah khair for your contributions.

The following message is from my cousin, who lives in Rawalpindi and knows the father for many years:

This is an 18 years old special girl. She has a brain condition where she suffers from fits. Her medical condition deteriorated more in the past few months and a small surgery was recommended by the doctors. She has five more sisters, who are married, but they are not financially stable. Two sisters with their kids were back to their father’s house during COVID-19 as their husbands couldn’t afford to keep them without work. Her father is 70 years old and is doing a small job.

My cousin has been supporting this family financially and had also provided them ration as part of the Ration Distribution Project. He helped in the surgery of the eyes of the father previously. He also helped in arranging a small house for them last year. He has been supporting them in the purchase of medicine for the special girl, which costs from Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000.

The total cost of the surgery of the special girl is Rs 70,000, out of which, my cousin has arranged Rs 25,000 thus now Rs 45,000 (SAR 1,022) are required.
