Hajj and Umrah

Dhul-Hijjah is the twelfth(last) month of the Hijri Calendar, thus it marks the end of the Hijri Year. It is one of the four sacred months mentioned in the Quran. During this month the Muslims from all over the world visit Makkah for performing Hajj on the eighth, ninth and the tenth of this month. Day of Arafah takes place on the ninth of this month. Eid al-Adha, the "Festival of the Sacrifice", begins on the tenth day and ends on the sunset of the twelfth.
