Muharram ul Haram is the first month of the Islamic calendar, i.e. the Hijri year starts off with Muharramul Haram and concludes with Dhul-Hijjah. The crescent has not been sighted in India, so First Muharram in India will be on Wednesday, 11-08-2021 and 10th Muharram will be on Friday, 20-08-2021.

The crescent has not been sighted in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, so First Muharram in Saudi Arabia will be on Tuesday, 10-08-2021 and the 10th Muharram will be on Thursday, 19-08-2021. In some Arab countries, the First Muharram is on Monday (09-08-2021).

السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ، محرم الحرام اسلامی سال کا پہلا مہینہ ہے یعنی محرم الحرام سے ہجری سال کا آغاز اور ذی الحجہ پر ہجری سال کا اختتام ہوتا ہے.

ہندوستان میں چاند نہ نظر آنے کی وجہ سے ہندوستان میں یکم محرم الحرام 1443 بروز بدھ (11-08-2021) ہے اور دسویں محرم الحرام (یعنی عاشورہ) جمعہ (20-08-2021) کے روز ہوگی.

سعودی عرب میں اتوار کے روز چاند نہ نظر آنے کی وجہ سے سعودی عرب میں یکم محرم الحرام بروز منگل (10-08-2021) ہے اور دسویں محرم الحرام (یعنی عاشورہ) جمعرات (19-08-2021) کے روز ہوگی. بعض عرب ممالک میں یکم محرم الحرام بروز پیر (09-08-2021) ہے۔
