[Completed] – Request for Donations for Construction of Two Rooms for a Needy Family in Multan

My father knew this man when he was working as a peon in a factory. The factory got shut down and my father lost contact with him. My father recently came to know that he had suffered from a heart attack and he has to buy medicine from the Cardiology Center, Multan every month and he is in extreme financial crises.

When my father met him, he came to know that the house of that man has no water, no fan, no washroom, no rooms and even no solid roof. There is a shed for cows, partially made up of cane wood and partially made up of think clothes. The family of four; husband, wife and two daughters, sleep under it, even in rains. They visit the neighbor’s house to use the washroom.

They own a cow and a calf. The cow gives 3kg to 4kg milk every day. They sell this milk to try to make their ends meet. This is their only source of income. Sometimes they have food to eat, sometimes they sleep hungry. And they also have some debts to pay off.

Alhumdulillah, a donor contributed Rs 50,400 (SR 1,245) and my father used it on the following:

• Purchased wheat for the whole year.
• Purchased a pedestal fan.
• Arranged water motor along with pipeline, boring and water tanker.
• Paid off their debt.
• Construction of a washroom.

As they don’t have a solid roof thus to avoid rains, they have placed the wheat and the fan in their neighbor’s house. My father requested donations for the construction of two rooms for the family. The estimated cost is Rs 250,000 (SR 5,911).
