Update (30-10-20): Alhumdulillah, the heart pacemaker implant surgery has been successful and the taxi driver has been discharged from the hospital. JazakAllah khair for your contributions.

The following message is from a friend of my cousin, who lives in Rawalpindi and taking care of this patient:

This 62 years old taxi driver is currently admitted to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. His heart is functioning at 35% and has deteriorated further in the past few days. He is unable to do physical movement anymore. He is the only earner of his house and his wife is also physically and mentally challenged. Doctors have recommended him to have a Dual Wire Heart Pacemaker Implant Surgery.

There will be no cost of the surgery and medicine but the pacemaker device will cost Rs 290,000. My cousin’s friend has been able to arrange Rs 107,000 thus now they are looking for financial support of Rs 183,000 (SAR 4,232). He is eligible for Zakat.

If you would like to donate any money then it will be transferred to my cousin’s friend’s bank account. Donations can be made through any of the following channels:
