[Completed] – Request for Donations for Special Milk and Medicine for 2 Years Old Baby Girl with a Heart Problem

Update (05-09-20): Message from my colleague in STC: “Doctors recommended that the baby girl should be taken off from the special milk gradually and should be shifted to solid foods. This was done in a period of 8 months. Alhumdulillah, the girl has shifted successfully and is fine now.” JazakAllah khair for your contributions.

Update (27-07-19): Message from my colleague in STC: “Noaman bhai, I have transferred approximately Rs 250K to my brother account after EID-ul-Fitar. He is transferring to her account every month Rs 28,500. Last time my father was tracking money by this way but it was difficult for him so I requested my brother to manage this work. Actually the purpose is to take care of the money to spend on baby’s Milk only. If I would give them all the money one time, maybe they spend somewhere else. Jazakallah Kher for your support.”

Update (30-05-19): Alhumdulillah, SR 5,145 have been collected and transferred to my colleague’s account, this amount should be able to cover the milk and medicine for the next 7 months inshaAllah. If required, we will run another campaign after 6 months. JazakAllah khair for your contributions.

Update (26-05-19): Msg from my colleague in STC:

“Dear All,

The blessed month of Ramadan is going on. In this blessed month, I need your support to become a blessing for a family and participate in a noble cause by your Zakat, Sadqa, Fitrana etc…

My friend’s neighbor’s baby-girl is suffering from heart disease and earlier doctors had decided to do heart surgery but alhamdulillah, she has fully recovered from 2 out of 3 medical issues and 20% of the 3rd medical issue by using the prescribed imported Milk. Based on her progress, the doctor has prescribed her the milk for another 2 years.

The family is extremely poor and has a monthly income of only Rs 17,000 (SR 421) thus they cannot afford the required milk. Last year with your support, we had collected approx. Rs 285,000 and it fulfilled her Milk requirements for one year.

For the current year, the break down of the cost of the milk and medicine is given below. We need your support to help this family cope with the cost of the milk and medicine, to continue the recovery of the child. Appreciate your cooperation, please donate your Zakat, Sadqat, Fitrana etc. for this noble cause. May Allah protect us and our families.

One-month expense of the milk = 1100*25 = Rs 27,500 (SR 680)
Monthly medicine cost = Rs 2,000 (SR 50)
Total monthly cost (milk + medicine) = Rs 29,500 (SR 730)
Per Annum cost = Rs 354,000 (SR 8,751)

My friend’s neighbor’s baby-girl is suffering from a heart disease and the surgery cost is Rs 250,000 (SR 8,100) plus the doctor recommended one specific milk, it’s daily cost is Rs 950 (SR 31) and the monthly cost is Rs 28,500 (SR 924).

The family is extremely poor and has a monthly income of only Rs 17,000 (SR 551). They can’t afford the cost of the surgery, even can’t fulfill her milk requirements. They are currently residing in G-9, Islamabad. Please donate your Zakat, Sadqa etc for this noble cause. May Allah protect us and our families.
