Makkah or Makkah tul Mukarramah (Makkah the Honored) is the holiest city in Islam. It is home to the biggest and most important mosque in the world, Al-Masjid Al-Haram. At the center lies the most sacred site in Islam, The Kaʿbah, The House of Allah. Muslims all over the globe face towards the Kaʿbah while offering prayer/salah/namaz.
