The following message is from my an ex-collegue:
The father belongs to a middle-class family and he is currently jobless for some time. His 7 month old baby son was diagnosed with LIVER DISEASE BILIARY ATRESIA. Unfortunately, the Kasai procedure (surgical bypass or interim solution of liver transplant) done in March 2020 wasn’t successful. Since then baby’s condition is deteriorating as the liver isn’t functioning properly. Doctors have advised him to go for his son’s liver transplant in 25 to 30 days. He could not find any medical institute in Pakistan which treats baby’s liver transplant however, in India success rate of such cases is proven high and costs approx 8 million Pakistani rupees. He has arranged a donor, if the donor tissue matching is not successful then he will donate his liver to his son. This is their only child after 8 years of marriage.
